…Then Comes Marriage
Do you squeeze the toothpaste from the end or the middle? Does toilet paper go on the roll so you pull from the top or the bottom? Do you know how to talk so your spouse will listen?
I’m excited to announce Alan and I will be leading a marriage conference this month in Fayette, Alabama at Southside Baptist Church. It will be April 23-24, and YOU are invited! If you live anywhere near Fayette, we’d love to meet you there. The cost is $40 per couple. It includes a steak dinner Friday night, a light breakfast, and lunch on Saturday. Call the number on the poster to make reservations.
Alan and I have a passion for marriages. When we hit year five in our own marriage, we began to see many friends’ marriages fall apart and break. It bothered us. We wanted to fix them. We quickly found out we couldn’t, but we knew the One who could. Our desire to help others create stronger marriages led us to being marriage mentors at our church.
Soon after, we were approached by some close friends about starting a marriage class with them. We were immediately hooked on teaching and sharing about building lasting relationships. God is opening doors, and we now embark on a new journey as we start marriage conferences.
Alan and I are not teaching conferences because we have the perfect marriage. We’re leading conferences because we have an imperfect marriage and aren’t afraid to share the journey with you. But most importantly, we are teaching because we have been called.
